The new Mid-America League Baseball, a summer collegiate baseball league, will feature six teams across the south-central United States starting in 2024. It’s set to bring exciting summer baseball to markets that need it most.
A 68-game schedule will emphasize player development, showcasing collegiate talent (from NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, junior colleges) to professional scouts. These players will hone their skills and increase their visibility.
The season launches on May 23rd, 2024, and will culminate with playoffs starting August 12th, determining the champion.
Mid-America League Baseball Teams
The Mid-America League is a new summer baseball league featuring teams from Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. The league is set for its inaugural season in 2024, offering fans a chance to catch some exciting games during the summer months. Abilene Flying Bison: The Abilene Flying Bison bring professional-style baseball to Abilene, Texas.

Joplin Outlaws: While their official team name is still under wraps, Joplin, Missouri, will be fielding a team known as the Joplin Outlaws for the 2024 season.
Sherman Shadowcats: The Sherman Shadowcats will prowl the basepaths in Sherman, Texas, ready to pounce on their opponents.
Texarkana Rhinos: Texarkana, Texas, will be home to the Texarkana Rhinos, which will surely bring a potent offence to the league.
Piney Woods (White Oak) TimberHogs: Rounding out the league is the Piney Woods (White Oak) TimberHogs, representing White Oak, Texas.
