Piney Woods TimberHogs Baseball Team | News, Roster, Schedule & Coach
The Piney Woods TimberHogs are a new summer baseball team for college students, and they play in East Texas in a league called the Mid-America League. They are named “TimberHogs” because of the many pine trees and wild boars in the area. They play their games at White Oak Baseball Stadium in White Oak, Texas, which was fixed up in 2014 for the team.
The team’s boss, David Upchurch, used to play baseball and knows a lot about the game. He wants to help young players get better and maybe play baseball in college or even as professionals. The TimberHogs will start playing games in 2024 and will be one of six teams in their league. They want to help college baseball players improve their skills.

The Piney Woods TimberHogs from White Oak are owned by Dany Chenail. Dany joins summer college baseball with a lot of love for the game and new ideas. He wants to help young players in East Texas get better at baseball and make the local community happy through the sport.
